Copyright and DMCA policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
We respect the rights of creators and expect our users to do the same. This page explains how the service relates to copyrighted content and how rights holders can contact us.
We do not host content
Videones does not store, index or publish media. When a user requests a file, it is fetched from X’s servers, passed through temporary storage and deleted immediately after the transfer. There is no catalogue or gallery of downloaded content on this website.
Because the content itself remains hosted on X, the most effective way to have infringing material removed everywhere is to report it to X directly using X’s copyright reporting form. Once a post is removed from X, it can no longer be downloaded here.
Sending us a notice
If you are a copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe our service is being used to infringe your rights — for example, you want specific posts blocked from processing — send us a notice through the contact page, choosing the "Copyright" topic. To act on a notice we need:
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- the link(s) to the X post(s) concerned;
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may delay our response. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may expose you to liability.
What happens next
After reviewing a valid notice, we may block the identified posts from being processed by the service and, where appropriate, inform the person concerned. We aim to respond within a few business days.
Counter-notices
If you believe a block resulted from a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice through the contact page containing: the links concerned, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was blocked by mistake, your name, address and telephone number, your consent to the jurisdiction of the competent courts, and your signature.
Repeat infringers
We may restrict access to the service for users who repeatedly use it to infringe copyright, including through technical blocking measures.
