Step-by-step guide

  1. Check the post itself has sound

    X autoplays videos muted. Tap the speaker icon on the post: if you hear nothing there, the original has no audio track to download.

  2. Paste the link and pick a video quality

    Paste the link above and download any of the qualities listed for the video. Each one is a complete MP4 with the audio track already combined.

  3. Play it in a full media player

    Open the file in VLC, QuickTime, Media Player or your phone’s video player — not a thumbnail preview, which is often muted — and check the volume.
